Masks are required at all times for everyone entering the Hillel JUC building.

In light of the recent spread of the Omicron variant of COVID, as well as CDC, Commonwealth, and local recommendations, and in line with our Jewish values, anyone attending an in-person event at the Hillel JUC:

  • Must be fully vaccinated
  • Must wear a mask at all times with only the following exception: While eating and drinking food and beverages provided by Hillel JUC in designated areas. Outside food and beverage is prohibited.
  • Individuals entering Hillel JUC are asserting that (a) they have been fully vaccinated, (b) they will wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times, (c) they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID or aware of any recent exposure, and (d) they agree to comply with all COVID requirements while at Hillel JUC.

We know how difficult this past year has been for everyone, and we are excited about resuming in-person activities in our wonderful building. We will only do so in line with medical and scientific guidance, combined with our sacred Jewish values. At this time, we will be limiting the number of students in the Hillel JUC building. We will communicate directly to the student community about how to sign up to participate in activities inside the building.

For students unvaccinated or preferring not to attend in-person programs, we will still be providing activities and opportunities to engage in Jewish campus life with Hillel If there is a change to our guidelines, we will inform our student community immediately. The welfare of our staff, students and community members is always our priority.
