Stories of Liberation: What does it mean to be free?
Each year around our Seder tables, we retell the story of how the Jewish people were enslaved by Pharaoh in Egypt, and finally escaped to march their way to freedom by crossing the Red Sea. What does this story mean to us today? What are other stories of oppression and freedom our people and other cultures have endured over centuries, and even still today? What does true freedom mean to YOU? Join us as we study and discuss a core story of the Jewish people through a new lens.
Join Springboard Ezra Fellow, Allison Bloomberg, and other thoughtful Jewish students for a meaningful entrance into the Passover season! Open to all Jewish students – JLF alumni and Jewish learning newbies, alike! Participants will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card and a catered meal (K for P on 4/18) for attending.
