Hillel@Home is offering “Resistance Torah,” a three-part series exploring privilege, systemic racism, and Jewish involvement in social movements. It is strongly encouraged that participants attend all three sessions to fully engage in a learning cohort experience. The series is only open to college students, and ideal participants are those who are eager to examine race and injustice through a Jewish lens. The goals of the series are to give space for students to learn and grow, as well as provide students with tools to better discuss race and privilege in their own Jewish communities. “Resistance Torah” will be led by the Springboard Social Justice Fellows, who are part of Hillel International’s early career professional development program. A second “Resistance Torah” cohort series may be launched, based on demand.
